2nd Annual Balloons Over Branson Creek
Hot Air Balloon Festival
October 19th - 21st, 2012
2012 Balloons over Branson Creek, Branson’s 2nd Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival, is a joint partnership between The Ozark Mountain Family YMCA, The Communities at Branson Creek and Branson Balloon. A weekend festival featuring Hot Air Balloons, Powered Parachutes, Sky Divers, live music, vendor & craft fair, a Dog walk on the trails at Branson Creek presented by the Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society, hay rides and so much more. The event will be held within The Communities at Branson Creek - located 4 miles south of Highway 76 off of Highway 65 in Hollister, Missouri.
The event starts with a special Friday Night Kick-Off Party beginning at 6 PM. The event is free entry to the public. There will be vendors and food on site and you can purchase tickets for Tethered Balloon Rides for just $10!
And a Friday night MUST – Get your VIP Party Passes for $25 for entry to the VIP Party Tent, VIP Parking, and dinner by Famous Dave’s! All proceeds go to help the Ozark Mountain Family YMCA.

The Balloons over Branson Creek Saturday activities are also FREE to the public to enjoy!
Saturday morning, we gear up for the big Celebrity Hot Air Balloon Competition which will begin at 7:00 AM. Don’t worry, we will be serving a Pancake Breakfast for just $5 from 7 AM to 11AM! In the competition, your favorite celebrities such as SIX and Clay Cooper will be riding in Balloons as they compete in flight and skill challenges for cash and prizes. Cheer on your favorite Balloon and Branson Celebrity – You don’t want to miss this!
At 9:00 AM, following the Balloon Competition, will start the Powered Parachute Competition!
After the competitions, help Balloons over Branson Creek raise money for the Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society by participating in a Dog Walk on the Trails at Branson Creek. The dog walk will take place at 10:00 AM. Each pre-registered dog will receive a goody bag. Pre-registration is $10/registration at the event is $15. All day Chopper Charter will be on the event grounds providing helicopter rides!
From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the hour, every hour – Sign up for FREE hay rides. We will have Guided Historical Tours of the Branson Creek Trails!
Throughout the day, there will be tons of kid’s crafts from pumpking painting to building your own hot air balloon!
At 5:00 PM, the Sky Divers will jump and enjoy their show as they land to safety on the event grounds.
By 6:30 PM – the College of the Ozarks Concert Band will be preparing to perform and kick off the beautiful Evening Balloon Glow which will take place at DUSK. Don’t forget your camera!
Famous Dave’s will serving up food and drinks on site all day. (No outside food or beverage allowed.) Enjoy the Vendor & Craft Fair as well Live Entertainment throughout the day. Monkey Moe’s will have 3 Huge Inflatables for the kids to enjoy! Plus there will clowns & face-painting and so much more!

The Communities at Branson Creek by McMillin Communities, named as one of the Top 50 Master- Planned Community by Where to Retire Magazine in 2011, spanning 6500 acres is located 4 miles South of Highway 76 on Highway 65. You will take the Branson Airport exit and follow the signs posted along Branson Creek Blvd to the event parking lots and main event location.
